Babies in challenges

I apologize if this topic is one that is posted constantly. I haven’t posted here in a long time, so I’m back with my hot takes.

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that D and C are part of the challenges nowadays. In the newest video, which I have not finished (and honestly don’t plan to), I find it ridiculous to let the little kids participate, knowing they have other activities they can’t miss later that day. It seems like Brooke and Justin just want to upset their kids for content. If I had as many kids as they do, including the youngest two, I know they would be very excited. Ripping them away from the challenge is cruel; they shouldn’t have been included in the first place. It’s like Brooke and Justin include them because they know that their tears bring in the views. By no means am I a parent, but it seems like common sense not to do things that you know will upset your children, especially at such a young age. I don’t think the younger two should be included in any of the videos, to be honest, because at the end of the day, that’s two more kids being exploited.

Maybe include them in simple games like tag or hide and seek, but they don’t need to film it.

Thank you for listening to my TED talk.
