Intrusive Thoughts After Horror Movie

Me and my sister just watched Smile 2, and I have never had a big problem with horror movies in the past. My OCD has been worsening within the past year and after watching it I keep having intense flashes of vivid gore imagery. I can’t even look at my dogs without seeing them in various gore scenarios. It’s exhausting and I would love some advice as to how to help these thoughts stop. I’m currently in therapy but it’s late where I live and my therapist isn’t awake, of course. It’s just so exhausting seeing disgusting things when I close my eyes. I almost just threw up and I’ve been gagging the past few minutes because the images are so intense. Any advice?
