which primary ballot should i request?

this is my first time voting in a primary. i am requesting an absentee ballot but am torn between requesting a democrat or republican ballot.

i am definitely a democrat but biden running with relatively zero competition. because of this, would it be more beneficial to request a republican ballot, so i can vote between haley and trump? what are your guys’ opinions?
