Shanks vs Mihawk Explained

I don’t intend to start a war, just wanted to share some thoughts.

Of course this debate has been going on for a while but how about thinking about it from a different perspective?

Shanks and Mihawk used to duel all the time. It said they were pretty evenly matched in these duels.

But when Shanks lost his arm Mihawk refused to fight him. But I think the reason Mihawk didn’t want to fight him is because he may have thought it to be dishonourable to fight a man with one less arm.

You may be thinking, if they were both even in their duels, with a lost arm, shanks must be weaker than him.

But is that really something we can assume? Kidd lost his arm and he still was able to grow stronger. So I don’t think Shanks losing his arm necessarily means he got weaker.

Anyways, my point is, we’ll never know until Oda tells us or gives us more information. But just thought looking at it through the perspective that Mihawk didn’t want to fight him because it was dishonourable rather than Mihawk didn’t want to fight him because he thinks the fight will be an easy win for him, is interesting.
