Is there any research/progress into using the AMS lite with other printers?

That ~$30 AMS system that was posted looks promising (and I’d be willing to pay a bit more for something semi “ready to go”), but it would be great to still use the AMS lite on non-bambu printers. Of course modifications would need to be made.
