Tipping at restaurants
Hi and apologies if this has been asked already! (I did a search and couldn't find anything)
I know that tipping in Europe in general is more seen as just as a small acknowledgement of good service vs in the US, but I was wondering if that differs for higher end restaurants? My fiance and I are going to Auberge Nicolas Flamel for their tasting menu and I wanted to make sure I was aware of the social norms. The articles I could find online said most people just leave a few Euro, but that doesn't seem appropriate for this level of spend. Would appreciate any insights, thanks!
