Not sure what to do

Sorry for the giant paragraph I’m using my cell phone- My dad is 75 and has had Parkinsons for 15 years. He went to the hospital for weakness and some confusion more than usual and we were told he was Covid +. Neurologist claims he will go back to his baseline prior to Covid when he’s negative. Long story short he ended up getting hospital induced delirium which was a nightmare. He got better with that there after a few days(he got something for agitation and sleep but only as needed which was 3am every night apparently) still confused during the day a bit but just to how long ago something happened. Yesterday he got transferred to a rehab and he started it again. Got the 3am call that he’s being aggressive toward the CNA and confused as to where he is. He seems to respond to my mom for the most part when she comes down and sits with him as per her. My mom wants to take him home and do PT and OT here. She seems to think it’ll be better for him mentally and her because she is upset he’s not here. My concern is it won’t make a difference where he is and his delusional thinking is just the norm at night now. Does anyone have experience with this kind of situation and did it get better?
