New player here, found a Mirror of Kalandra. Questions

Never played Path of Exile 1 so any tips is appreciated. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with this but it says that I can create a copy of a Item. Im a mercenary so my question is can i use it on my gold crossbow and dual wield? Cause I see dual wielding on my passive skill tree. Any help would be appreciated on how to do that.
