Is POE 1 worth playing?

I've been playing POE 2 for a bit, have over 300 hours, 2 level 90 characters. I'd say I've got a grasp of how the game actually works. I loved the campaign and the difficulty of the game while leveling as a souls fan, but after reaching the end game and dropping a few hours on it, it feels like it's not scratching that itch anyone. I've read a lot about all the good things POE 1 has, how the community puts it in a pedestal and seen how much love it has received. I wanted to ask you guys if it's worth playing right now? Considering the league has been ongoing for some time and considering how it may not get more updates.
