People calling children "littles".

I get why it became a thing, I guess its sorta cute in that millennial-humor type way..

But I dunno, I just cringe whenever someone uses this word to describe kids. It just reminds me of the type of people that make being a parent their whole personality. You know, the type that "gentle parent" and expect everyone to put up with their kid's resulting scream fit in a restaurant because they're "still learning" and "he gets like this when we have to put away his ipad". You know, every pre-school teacher's worst nightmare of a parent? That's the vibe I get when people refer to their children as "my little".

I understand that it is not the intention, but the fact that "littles" is also a term used in age play fetish content for people who are into age-regression definitely doesn't help (not to kink shame but also yes to kink shame because 🤢).

ugh..

"Children" Yes. "Kids" Yes. "Babies" Sure, still cute. "Chidluns" Yes. "Offspring" if you must. "Little ones?" Absolutely, adorably endearing.

"Littles?" No. Stop it.
