What are you thoughts on this question? I always believed cait died in the au

I’m not sure how popular this opinion is but I always imagined cait died in the au. It just makes the most sense. To be fair, I’m working off the belief that there are very few universe in which cait and vi don’t cross at all and in every universe they are soulmates. I forget where I saw it but in the scene where vi died, you see Marcus looking traumatized and someone said oh please one dead zaun kid changed his mind to help? And I agreed. Now would it be slightly character accurate considering he didn’t kill vi and just brought her to Stillwater? Yes. Do I care or think that him changing his mind changed the outcome of the other universe? Hell no. I always thought ‘seriously? A kid dying topside from stealing is what did it? Sure it’s a spectacle but you’re telling me something like this hadn’t happened before?’ That’s when I started to think cait died with vi that day. She’s a kirammin and her parents concern is only with her and we see that Cassandra had a little tiny baby bit of empathy toward zaunites, at least to do the obvious. A kirammin and a poor kid from zaun dying from a failed robbery caused by lack of resources or care for zaun? That’s what really caused the shift alongside vander apology to silco I think. If cait hadn’t died, and it was only vi though that certainly would’ve caused riots but I wonder how that would’ve impacted vanders and silcos relationship. How would cait feel if she was alive? I think vi’s death would’ve impacted so many more people than just the main characters for sure
