Need Workout Advice

Hey y’all! So I recently switched from an OrangeTheory membership to a Planet Fitness membership. I loved OTF for the group class environment, and having a workout that was pre-made. One the other hand, after making so much progress, I started wanting to tailor my exercise routine to my personal goals more. That said, after I made the switch, I’ve had a really hard time adjusting to the change and getting excited/motivated to work out. I’ve really been struggling to get myself to build a routine and familiarize myself with the equipment.

So I’m a woman, 5’ 3”, about 138 lbs. My first goal is to lose weight (body fat) and get back to my comfortable weight, around 125 lbs. I’m about 32 years old, and I’ve never really struggled with my weight before. I think one of my biggest barriers to finding my way back to fitness has been having a job working from home, causing me to not get enough movement in a day unless I am really intentional about it. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I should probably be working out at least 3 times a week, and I should probably try to get out for a walk almost every day.

So for some of you who are more familiar with the equipment that’s available at Planet Fitness, what exercises or machines should I start with -for my particular goal- if I want to build myself a full body workout for my first month routinely at the gym? I think I would like to go at least 3 times a week, and focus on combination and compound exercises to get the most out of my workout.

ETA: Please list names of specific exercises or machines so I can look up videos on how to do it before I try it at the gym. I’m looking to put together 4-6 movements I can do in one session so I can go to the gym with a plan, learn some equipment, and not feel anxious/overwhelmed.
