Is Poppy playtimes lore just FNAF?

Ive been playing poppy playtime since the first chapter. But ive begone to realize that poppy playtimes lore resembles FNAF quite a bit. I mean, the workers tested on kids and rhe kids possessed the toys. also the main doctor in the project (i forgot his name) controls almost all the puppets. like william afton. so, is Poppy playimes lore just FNAF?
