How to reduce inflammation?
TLDR: how to reduce inflammation in the prostatic urethra? There is a phytotherapy treatment that can help with that? Heating pads and heating bath help a lot with the pressure in the urethra, but after using heating pad for an hour yesterday my symptoms got way worse. Is that normal?
Hello everyone, i'm suffering with this thing for 2+ years already. I still don't know if it's IC or CPPS. Tested all OAB medications with no success.
My main problems are constant urge (every 5-20 minutes) + pressure in the urethra (specially in the prostatic urethra). I don't have bladder pain. There's times that the pressure feeling get better for some minutes after voiding, and other times that it doesn't. I don't even know if I have an urge to pee, because if the urethra pressure is gone I can stay more than 2-3 hours without needing to go to the bathroom.
I did a cystoscopy last week and it showed that I had inflammation in the prostatic urethra. Doctor prescribed me Levofloxacin + Azitromicin + Ketoprofen + Tamsulosin + Imipramine 50mg.
It helped a bit because I was with permanent urge to pee, and it made me able to hold for 1-2 hours without the pressure on the first 2-3 days. Now however it is slowly getting worse (and it probably will because I've already tried antibiotics for 3 times and it never works).
The thing is, I've started doing PT this week, found that I had a lot of tension, he did internal work and found tense areas there too. I'm doing strict diet since 3 weeks ago (I can't eat). And i'm still missing meditation + CBT.
