Seller wanting $ two years after close

Closed two years ago. Got a call from listing agent saying the buyer would like for a new heat furnace paid by seller because it broke. Buyer cited an incorrect date listed on the seller disclosure as the justification. Yet never mentioned that they failed to notice that discrepancy during their inspection period, and they closed as planned. What’s the best course of action here? Sit back and do nothing? Seems the listing agent should not even be responding to the buyer agent in my opinion, but for some reason he has made them feel as though we are going to pay for this replacement and has told us we have an obligation to make things right. Any advice?
