Is my tablet faulty?

I’ve had my RMPP since 10th October. I really like it, except for one thing, which is very annoying. When I’m in a notebook, going to a new page isn’t working. I can tap and swipe all over the page but to no avail. It then shows half a page or a line on the side and sometimes allows me to eventually select a new page. This is super problematic as I’m using it to take lecture notes so by the time I’ve faffed with the tablet, the point I wanted to write down has gone. This does not happen with my RM2.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I’m a bit disappointed as my RM2 has been so reliable. I really need a colour device for note taking though.
