Travel Opportunities

Hi, so I spoke to a recruiter at an AFCO a while back and he touched on some of the travelling opportunities i.e. being stationed and not adventure training. He mentioned there's potentially the opportunity to be stationed in America for 3 years, just wondering how often these opportunities arise and if anyone could give the locations within America that this usually takes place?
