Painted Shifter Trim

Hey everyone. I had to paint my shifter trim due to a mishap with mint oil (don’t let mint oil get on your paint I guess).

Paint job came out okay but the silver is brighter than I anticipated. I was hoping to get opinions, I think the contrast might be throwing the interior off a bit. I ordered a silver radio door so that might help. I could also paint the circled area black to lessen the contrast, or just do it all over again in black.

Driving myself crazy trying to figure out if it looks bad or not lol.. really wish I didn’t get that mint oil on the finish, it was actually in phenomenal shape before that happened.
