Path to CSP

So I'm 35 and making a mid life career path move after over a decade in telecom field work, and then the last 3 years in industrial manufacturing. I always was attracted to safety and have been trying to get o my company's EHS team for a year and a half with no luck. Seems like the degree is holding me back even though I'm OSHA 30 and have relevant years in the field of safety practices and prevention.

Whatis the best path to just go all out for my CSP license?

I am fixing to enroll in a competency based Bachor program in Health and Safety. As far as I know it's still an accredited Bachlor degree just on a much faster track to finishing.

Anybody know if a competency based bachelor degree will be able 5o qualify me to keep going from there? Not a young pup anymore so if there's any way to fast track it then that's the plan.
