Pioneers who use gaming laptops...

... What is the experience like, what FPS do you get and what laptop do you use?

My work wants to send me to another site for two whole weeks, and that's two whole weeks away from my factory, unless I get a gaming laptop. I'd like to keep it around $1k, if possible.
