Anybody else losing interest on the show?
It's just getting boring and "repetitive". I put the quotes because, yes, there have been advances in the plot, but I feel like we've been seeing the same thing over and over again throughout this second season.
Juliette trying to make a suit and the folks back at the Silo trying to start a rebellion.
Sure, there's a couple of major events that happened, but I feel like it's been pretty pointless so far.
I also don't really like any character in the Silo. Knox and Shirley are just completely uncharismatic as leads for that part of the show and even Walker hasn't really done anything this season.
The best parts are the ones on Silo 17, with Juliette and Solo, but even that is starting to drag.
My opinion is that the first season relied a lot on a mystery to keep the story going and they did that very well, keeping us entertained all the way through. However, in season 2 I just feel like they stopped exploring the mysterious nature of that universe.
For more than half of the show (in Silo 18) we, the audience, already know more than any of the characters, leaving little to no mysteries to be uncovered, relying completely on us wanting those characters to find out the truth, which hasn't happened at all so far. Perhaps it will in the next episode with the Sheriff talking to Kennedy, but they would still be very much clueless.
What do you guys think? This is just my opinion and it's completely fine if you think I'm wrong. I just want to hear some thoughts on it.
