Smiling Friends April Fools' Day 2024 recap

For the 2024 April Fools' prank, [adult swim] announced the season 2 premiere but at midnight instead aired:

Season 1 episode: Mr Frog But remade with puppets.

This was followed up by another puppet remake (with all different puppets) of Shrimp's Odyessey

Then one last remake of Charlie' Dies and Doesn't Come Back

They THEN aired a Season 2 episode: "Gwimbly: Definitive Remastered Enhanced Extended Edition DX 4k (Anniversary Director's Cut)"

The event then played all 4 episodes in reverse order. They took down the official links containing the new Season 2 episode.

Finally, they confirmed season 2 will premiere on May 12th with episodes on max the next day. On that day they will air:
