Ideas for South of Midnight community activities leading to the (speculated) Apr/May 2025 release!

Shouts out to a certain program that helped me condense these into something that the average person can navigate easily: 

1. Monthly Themes and Discussions

   •       Focus: Highlight different aspects of the game’s setting, characters, and themes.

   •       Examples:

•  December: Southern Gothic Spotlight – Share films, books, or games that inspire the Southern Gothic vibe.

•  January: Creature Design – Speculate about creatures and monsters that might appear.

•  February: Musical Inspirations – Discuss blues and other music styles featured in the game’s trailers.

2. Developer Q&A or AMA

   •       Host an AMA with Compulsion Games to discuss the game’s development, inspirations, and mechanics. Make it interactive by collecting questions from the community beforehand.

3. Speculation Threads

   •       Post regular threads encouraging users to theorize about the game:

•  Story Speculation: Predict the main character’s journey and relationships.

•  Gameplay Mechanics: Guess how exploration and combat will work.

•  Lore Building: Share ideas about myths and legends that might appear in the game.

4. Community Challenges

   •       Art & Creativity Contests:

•  Fan art inspired by the game’s visuals.

•  Writing competitions for short stories set in a South of Midnight-like world.
