Help needed!

Hey everyone, I need your help!

I worked for the same company for five years, and while I was waiting for my Permanent Residency (PR) to be approved, the company went into liquidation. After waiting 12 months in the PR queue, I lost my job—and because my PR wasn’t approved yet, I was denied access to the Fair Entitlements Guarantee (FEG), which helps workers get unpaid wages and redundancy pay when a company goes under.

Basically, because of a technicality, I got nothing—even though I’ve been living, working, and paying taxes here for years. And I’m not the only one. There are thousands of people in the same situation, stuck with no support after years of hard work.

I’ve started a petition to change this, so workers waiting for PR aren’t left out in the cold when their employer goes under. If you think this is unfair (because it totally is!), please sign and share—every signature helps push for change!
