Refurbished OLED verifying installation loop.

Wondering if anyone has encountered this. I've seen/read of similar issues online but for me I get some flashing green squares randomly about the screen and then it either freezes or goes to the boot screen with "verifying installation" every time. I can't get more than 5 minutes before this happening. Got the deck today and this initially happened when launching desktop, or at least that's when I noticed. I've hard reset, factory reset and reset cmos with none working. Hopefully this is ok to post here and someone knows of a fix.
