Humble Bundle games

Hi all. So I'm pretty new to using the steam deck and have noticed that a game i want (Trails of Cold Steel 2) is 50% off on humble bundle but I'm not sure how non steam games work on this device? Should it be fine? Or should I wait for a Steam sale?
