What academic subjects do you think everyone would excel in alongside enjoy? And what do you think their grades probably look or looked like?

Angela is a terrible person, but I wouldn’t guess her grades were low. Likely typically A’s and B’s with the occasional C, likely on the honor roll sometimes. Seems like the type who would accuse the teacher of being against her and try to get them into trouble if they gave her a low grade. What do you think?

I’ve never thought of Chrissy as a straight A student. Probably mostly B’s, C’s sometimes, grades had probably dropped as a result of her trauma. I don’t see her with a C average though, at least not until everything that happened with the Upside down. I don’t think she’d like math. I see her really enjoying drama class. I could see her liking English too, actually. Enjoying the opportunity to write about her feelings and feeling that it makes more sense than math. A fan of poetry.

It seems like we know that academics aren’t el and Steve’s hot spot (which especially makes sense in El’s case since she’s missing a lot of schooling.) I wonder what El’s favorite subject would be if she were receiving more support with her schooling.

I know for most of the party people are likely inclined to say STEM. I could see Dustin really getting into Physics and/or Chemistry. I think he likes math or at least finds it interesting as a bit of an extension (to understand advanced science you of course also need to understand advanced math.) I could see Dustin liking Khan Acsdemy later on.

I think Erica would be particularly good at History, though the interest in STEM is of course likely still present as well.

I envision Lucas being good at history and math. He seems like he’d have a high GPA.

Nancy being good at English seems canon, imo, based upon the fact that she provided Steve with advice on his essay in season two. I could see her correcting the grammatical errors of others. I could also see her tutoring to make money on the side.

I want to hear your headcanons, we could talk about college level subjects too :) For example, I could also envision Nancy excelling in and enjoying different legal studies courses at the college level. Let’s just have fun with it!

I just remembered max uses the word “presumptuous” in s2, which is reasonably advanced for a 12 year old
