I was thinking 🤔 what if the ending of the show would have been different? I thought about this a lot lately. What if at the end of the show Dean actually wakes up in a mental hospital? I mean, when he was small he saw his mom burning alive and so his mind made up this life in the road with his dad and little brother? What if actually he is schizophrenic and he is imagined all of this? Sam really went to law school and married Jess only Dean sees it different because he blames Sam for their mom's death,because when the house cought on fire their mom returned inside and saved Sam? And in his head Jess dies as a punishment? Or how about his dad and the other woman who he had Adam? Maybe in the real life John actually remarries and he has Adam but again Dean cannot accept it so he kills both of them in his head and then throws Adam in Lucifer's cage? And what if Sam is the only one who keeps going back to him and he keeps reading him all these stories about monsters even though they are older? To bond with him? And that is why he never lets Sam die in his head because he is the only one who didn't give up on him? Can you imagine him waking up from this state,in this mental hospital with Casstiel being his psychiatrist? If you think about it, it kind of makes sense. Idk. Just a midnight thought 💭.
