Fighting sleepless nights with supplements

Hi,

I’ve been struggling with sleep issues for years - like, since high school. Most nights I’m just lying in bed till 4 AM, overthinking everything. Replaying convos in my head, imagining how I could’ve clapped back at my boss or ruminating over dumb mistakes I made years ago. Other times I’m stressing about tomorrow - work, all the stuff I need to get done, relationships, just life overall.

I’m overwhelmed and exhausted. Lack of sleep totally wrecks me. I wake up feeling dead, can’t focus, screw up at work, and then stress even more. It’s like this endless loop of anxiety and burnout. By the weekend I’m so wiped I can barely move off the couch, just binge Netflix and hope for the best.

So, I’ve been hunting for something to help. Tried some herbal sleep stuff, like valerian root, melatonin…. But, tbh, they didn’t do much.

Then I started thinking - what if it’s not even a sleep thing, but more about my anxiety? That’s when I started looking into anti-anxiety supplements and stumbled on lithium. Like if it helps bipolar ppl, it can solve my case, right?

Decided to try supp called Normotim, cause the manufacturer promises to reduce anxiety, lower stress, and improve sleep (though maybe I just liked the packaging).

I’ve been on it for about 16 days now, idk, but I think it’s kinda working? I feel a bit calmer during the day - like my brain’s not stuck in turbo mode anymore. I’ve actually had a few decent nights of sleep.... Not perfect, but better. It’s such a relief to not feel like I’m spiraling 24/7.

That said, I’m still lowkey worried - will the effects last? Has anyone else here tried Normotim or other lithium supps and seen long-term results? Also, if you’ve got recs for other pills that help you with anxiety and sleep, drop them below!

Appreciate y’all
