Bought fake airpods from target

was bought 11/29/24 I bought airpods pro 2 usb-c when they were discounted and I recently started having issues with them. The audio kept cutting out and did doesn’t connect as well anymore so I contacted apple to see if i could get them replaced. They sent me to a location to get them looked at and they came back and told me they were fake and even the box and the airpods had different serial numbers. So my question is it possible for me to get a refund or a new pair by target? What should I do i’m stressing. I still have the receipt and everything.
