What should i do

Never had bad experience with bolt, or very rarely. Almost all experiences with taxis were bad, most of taxi drivers were unfriendly and expected to be paid more due to low rates. Today i took bolt for a 2km ride and the traffic jam was crazy. The driver was mumbling and close to crying, i felt bad for the guy and we definitely didnt want our driver to have a mental breakdown. Therefore, i asked him to maybe go to a difference place instead and showed him a location, and i asked him to modify the route for me. Then the driver took my phone and completed the first ride and placed a second ride, two charges and the ride was comfort so it was a bit more. After all that, he handed back me my phone and no gratitude was shown. It felt weird because we were paying a lot more for the ride and a destination that wasnt in our plan. The whole thing felt so weird, because it wasnt even my sympathy but i was left with no choice. Either we stay there with our driver having breakdowns and listening to him talk and may even cry or we pay more than we should be and not even go to the place we intended. I probably should offer him tips for the wait time, but the incident was so random and the whole thing was so weird.
