Recommendations for a Tower Climbing/Dungeon Descent like this?
Recently, I caught up with the released chapters of The Tutorial is too Hard, and I was pleasantly surprised by this manhwa. In particular, the aspects I liked most about this series are:
- The MC is actually faced with challenges that cannot be solved just in a blink of an eye;
- Things don't always end with a happy ending (floors 17th and 18th are really something), there's drama here, and a lot of it;
- Secondary characters are well-written and play an important role for both the plot and the psychological development of the MC;
- The story focuses on the Tower climbing itself, it's not only a background.
Can you recommend me something similar to this?
As for the Tower Climbing/Dungeon Descent that I already have read, there's a list:
- Level Up with the God (it's ok, even if the MC is on the too-much-overpowered side);
- Second Life Ranker (often a bit confusing, but a great MC. Secondary characters are underwhelming)
- Solo Max-Level Newbie (good art and good characters, I like it)
- SSS-Class Suicide (probably my favourite in every aspect)
- Pick me Up (love it too, probably it starts to have a bit too much plot armour after the first 50 chapters but still a great manhwa)
- Player who can't level up (not my cup of tea, I hate when the MC is "The Chosen One")
- The World After the End (dropped after the first 20 chapters, its writing is a lot confusing and I wasn't understanding what was happening on screen)
- Dungeon Odyssey (the art isn't great, but it excels in every other aspect, really intriguing in its darker and heavier tones)
- Surviving the game as a barbarian (even in this case, not a great art, but it's great in everything else)
I still have to read Tower of God, but it's intimidating with its 600+ chapters haha
