how long before you were cleared to drive?

53 yo woman, athletic, had THR of right hip on 1/31. Mini-posterior approach. Discharged same day, off all painkillers, using a cane around the house and for short walks outside. Moderate surgical pain, some twinginess in my knee when I walk because I can feel the operated leg is maybe 1-2 mm longer than before. I figure I will need some time to adjust because I tore my labrum 10 years ago (maybe running, probably dysplasia), and have been working around the pain for a long time. But otherwise, things feel good... better and better each day. I am no stranger to recovering from sporting injuries, so I am climbing the walls at home already and want to know when people were cleared to drive after THR? My in-home PT looked at me like I was crazy, since the operated leg is my driving leg.
