Why do people hate elon so much?

I know that is mostly because of his political inclination, but having biases on every aspect of a person's life is kinda stupid. Sure there are moments and ideas from him that are certainly condemnable but that's how human beings are. We're definitely not perfect, nobody is. There are moments where I see him making actual good opinions that are constructive and progressive while the left just shits on it because its currently the trend on social media. There are subreddits dedicated to ridiculing his products or ideas and nothing else. I mean I accept my bias when considering that Elon is not an 'evil' guy. Sure he's thoroughly incompetent and comes out as an insecure manchild, but I don't think his motivations lie anywhere else than of a toddler who thinks cars and spaceships are cool.
