How do you concentrate despite constant background noise like loud music, talking, barking dogs, and construction sounds, and are there any effective noise-canceling earbuds or other solutions?
How do you deal with background noises while studying? I often struggle with distractions like loudspeakers playing music two streets away, waste collection vehicle jingles, people talking outside, family members laughing or playing music, barking dogs, flushing sounds, clattering utensils, footsteps on the stairs, ticking clocks, and distant construction work. Sometimes, it gets so overwhelming that I just want to scream, 'STOP IT, EVERYONE, SILENCE PLEASE!'. I tried studying all night but it disturbs my body and circadian rhythm in a very bad way.
What are some effective ways to concentrate despite all this noise? Are there any noise-canceling earbuds or other solutions that can significantly reduce background sounds? Maybe even slightest sounds feel too much because of stress.
