A Brief History of Domestic Transfers from the USL Championship
Hundreds of players have gone from the USL Championship to Major League Soccer over the past 15 years - an early example being 2011 Player of the Year Yordany Alvarez being acquired by Real Salt Lake from Orlando City SC.
More recently a growing transfer market has been built between the two leagues, resulting in the rising bar that was reset on Sunday with Elijah Wynder's move from Louisville City FC to the LA Galaxy for a domestic record transfer fee.
Here's a look at the progression of that timeline, which began with another LouCity alum - Mark-Anthony Kaye - seven years ago.
