Unassigned regular

I am an unassigned regular. I currently have a hold down on a route that may last months. A floater position was posted in my office that I am not interested in. As the highest seniority unassigned regular in my office, I may be forced onto the swing if no one bids on it. My question is do I need to leave my hold down to deliver on the swing even if it is assigned to me.
