SOLVED: Camera Communication Failed trying to get Room View to work

I have been struggling to figure out why my Room View stopped working for several months. Whenever I attempted to test the camera, I would get an error to the effect of Camera Communication Failed. Let me save you some time..

Make sure your Valve Index USB is plugged into a USB 3.0 port.

I must inadvertently changed the USB cable to a 2.0 port, and have been experiencing this issue ever since. Hope this help someone..
