PSA: Keep your window shade up when flying during take off, it could save your life and others

Most jet engine failures (compressor stall) occurs during take off. Its when the jet experiences the most air flow disruptions. I always see so many passengers just shut their shades, after the crew tells announces to keep them open. If youre a nervous flyer and you dont want to see the land to sky and slam shut the shade, dont sit at a window seat (youll feel more vibrations against the walls of the jet)

Just do the flying public a favor, keep it open when it gets to cruising altitude close it and get some sleepies then.
