Proxy details for F block

I saw a post about 2 weeks ago on how to use Proxy to get better WiFi speeds, however it doesn't work on my laptop tho. When I add the proxy ip and port, my device can't connect to the internet at all.

Are proxies block specific? Has anyone / someone you know was able to successfully use a proxy to get faster WiFi speeds in F block?
