Which subie to learn how to race in hillclimbs

Lookin around for possible cars to try to run hillclimbs with. Never did it before and I don't wanna use my 19sti. I'm thinking an NA 2.5 in any impreza/legacy if I can find one? Or other options? Maybe a golf or civic but in trying to stay subaru.
