[Tissot PRX] Went to buy 35mm, got 40mm instead, now rethinking it

So, after reading and looking up many posts and wrist-shots of the prx in both 35mm and 40mm, I fully expected to purchase the 35mm version. It seemed the right size everywhere, and me having rather small wrist size at 6.6", 35mm was an obvious choice, 40mm was crazy to even think about, in my head it was a no-brainer. I thought I was going to get in store, try the 35, see everything is allright as expected, and walk out with it. Turns out, I was wrong. I knew 35 looked pretty smaller than 40, I've seen them side-by-side in showcase, but when I tried the 35mm, I was really surprised - it looked tiny and underwhelming. Not planning to even bother with the 40mm, I tried it, thought it worked, bought it. When I got home, and worn the watch for some time now, I am rethinking my choice, because 40mm is really at the very cusp of what suits me and what I am comfortable with. I question myself is this just a little big for me in the end? Was I too caught off-guard by the presence of the 35mm, and judged it incorrectly? I don't know anymore.
