Left turns to a one way street!

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to give a quick heads-up about turning left from William Ave East onto King St North. I've had a few close calls lately because people seem to get confused about the lanes, and I want to keep things safe for everyone.

So here's the deal:

The inner left turn lane should go into the second lane on King (the one just after the parking lane).

The outer left turn lane should go into the third lane on King.

If you're in the outer left turn lane and want to go into the fourth lane (the farthest right lane on King), you can do that after making the turn. Just make sure to signal and check your mirrors!

The problem I’ve been seeing is that sometimes people in the inner turn lane drift into my lane (the outer left turn lane), which almost caused a few accidents when I got pushed into the far right lane. That’s not how it should go, and it’s definitely something to watch out for.

The road marking s are covered in snow right now, but they’re usually pretty clear. I know the diagram only shows 3 lanes and king has 4 but it’s the closest on could find on a quick search.

Let’s all stay safe out there and stick to the right lanes!

Just hoping to be helpful and prevent avoidable accidents :-) Thanks!
