Remotasks - OVERpaid?

Got this lovely email today:

“Over the past month, we’ve identified an error in our payment system that caused an unintended overpayment in your account. Specifically, we had pay turned on for BOTH Data Compute and Remotasks, which is incorrect.

[bs about how they’re enhancing the pay experience moving forward]

In the next few days, you will see an email about how much you were overpaid and a request for the return of funds from your account to correct the error. You will see this request through your selected pay provider - either Paypal or AirTM.”

Some people are saying they’ll owe thousands back. I don’t use them that much thankfully. Anyone experienced something like this before? Any advice?
