AU - has anyone received their orders from black friday sales?

Pretty much the title.

I've placed 2 orders (25 and 27 Nov), and both still say pending. Curious if anyone else's order has actually been picked and shipped?

They're promising it'll arrive before X'mas on social media with express shipping and at this rate I expect it to show up on 24 Dec....

ETA #2: based on the responses, the summary is:

  • Order fulfilment: how orders are processed seems random and definitely not in chronological order, and definitely makes no difference if its player + card or card only. The only thing that seems consistent is that if there's any complication with the order at all (e.g. card pack sold out / mini upgrade to full yoto), those orders are still pending

  • Shipping: the promise to upgrade everyone to express seems to be untrue as some people received their orders through standard post. But there are some people who received express shipping.

Not that we can do anything about it but I guess it's a wait and see. Very disappointed with the overall experience with yoto and their comms, particularly given I actually love the product.

Keeping my fingers crossed that all the orders get shipped in the next day or so!

ETA#4: I sent an email enquiry on 17 Dec

My order 39xxx: I paid for express shipping and requested a refund on shipping (as they indicated in their comms). I received a generic reply still stating that they're aiming to have all orders received by Christmas and that since I paid for express, shipping will only take a maximum of 3 business days.

My order 48xxx: received tracking information on 17 Dec for STANDARD shipping, not express like their comms promised.

Very annoyed that they haven't upgraded everyone to express as they promised or refunded my express shipping charge. Once this is all over I will be writing them a very angry email and demanding my refund!

ETA#5: if anyone is still reading. I've just received an email saying my order 39xxx is delayed and they don't know when it'll be shipped. As compensation, I will receive a yoto voucher equivalent tiered to the value of the order. They clearly were not prepared...
