Question for our strap-on users

Since Valentines is right around the corner I thought I'd try to surprise my partner with a strap-on.

Yes we did talk about it before and yes we both want to try this.

But now I need a lil help, since I have never bought a sextoy before. I'm currently on "Wetforher" looking at the strap-on bundles and in those you can choose which dildo you'd like. I was thinking of investing in the future, by buying a vibrating one, but now I'm unsure. If you don't turn on the vibration is it like a normal dildo or is there a difference? Would you recommend that we just buy a regular one to get started first? Or would you say it makes no difference and I should just buy a vibrating one and turn it on whenever we're ready?
