Saw someone I recognized but don't know personally

I am new to AA meetings so please take it easy on me here. I attended a local AA meeting last night and I recognized a woman that I see works at a local convenience store I visit daily, and I know she would recognize me too. Since I wasn't sure if it was inappropriate or not I kept my distance and didn't say a word to her. Is there an appropriate way to say where I recognize her from or is it best to just wave and say hi and go on with my day? Don't want to make anyone feel weird but also want to show that I support her for also attending meetings like me. Thanks
