Let's suppose you can only have 10 apps installed in your phone (excluding system apps). Which ones do you pick?
With such limitation, we would be forced to pick our absolutely essentials apps.
These are mine (separated by areas):
- Comms
- Phone (calls)
- Daily planning
- Todoist
- Google Calendar
- Finance
- Wallet
- Navigation
- Google Maps
- Music/Podcasts
- Spotify
- Pocket Casts
- Tools
- Camera
- Calculator
Obviously, there are other apps that are essential, but let's assume we can use them on a computer, or they can be used by other method, so they don't need to be on our phones. An example, for me, could be a notes app, which can be replaced by a paper notebook, or the clock, which can be replaced by an actual watch, etc.
So, which 10 apps would you pick?
Edit: To clarify about the system apps discussion, I understand your point, and it was my fault, I wasn't enough clear, but in this case what counts are the apps that come preinstalled and aren't meant to be used by themselves. Their whole purpose is to keep the OS running properly and are not used by the user in a daily basis, like "Settings", "Android System Webview", "Google Play Services", etc. So, in this case, the Phone app, Calculator, Camera, would not count as system apps.
Edit2: The purpose of this discussion is not to pick your top 10 apps, the ones you like the most, but pick 10 that you really need in your phone to get you through the day.
