Appliance Age Finder

Hello,

I've created a free appliance age finder website (https://homespy.io) that's a bit more streamlined/mobile friendly than the appliance411 date code tool. My co-workers at my full time job rely on the appliance411 tool and the site has been a big spotty in terms of outages recently so I decided to just make my own solution.

It does the usual date/month decoding from the serial number but also does a search on the manufacturer in order to narrow down the date further in the case of GE/LG/Frigidaire and others that don't put the exact year in the serial number. As a last resort it searches the entire web for data on the model and approximates the manufacturing date.

Anyway, I decided to just put the tool on the web for everyone to use, hope it helps some people. Feedback is appreciated as well.

p.s. The website tool is free and isn't monetized with paywalls or ads but there is an paid API for people who need to automate the process.
