I feel like a good chunk of this subreddit doesnt even understand this is a sport.

I've seen plenty of posts of people asking the most basic, non specific and generic stuff about biceps, forearms, grip... and I feel like there's lots of people who joined thr sub but never really opened it for more than 10 seconds.

It starts hurting when you see posts of people either armwrestling in the shittiest positions or people who dont even know what cupping, rising and pronation do.

Like, in r/amateur_boxing you wont see posts of people seriously asking what a jab is. Just as you wont see posts of people throwing absolute random swings with their arms and calling it "shadowboxing".

I feel like the sport of armwrestling is so little that to many people it's not even a sport but a minigame, a joke, something to take lightly. And at least 1 post out 10-15 here tells me that.

It's very sad to be honest.

Ps: "Oh and by the way guys I ahve a quetion I hav done bicp curls for 2 monts and wrisr curls foh 1 mon, why cant I beat mai broder?"
